Six new teachers in Bumpeh Chiefdom, Sierra Leone, have completed their tertiary education funded by Sherbro Foundation’s teacher training scholarships. The teachers, including Abdul Aziz Bendu, are closing in on government certification to earn regular salaries. Despite numerous challenges, such as low wages and few resources, the teachers are committed to improving education in their local community.
